Buffalo is coming back. Lots of gentrification.
Buffalo is coming back. Lots of gentrification. Lots of hipsters running good restaurants. Historically it is as fascinating as St Louis. I had no idea it was the Silicon Valley of the US at the turn of the 20th century. Tesla and Westinghouse and the Erie Canal before really had an impact. The architecture is historic. The weather in late August was amazing!! Absolutely beautiful. Visited the Ellwood neighborhood, on a Saturday. Live music, food trucks, vendors and cute places to shop. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast consisted of an assortment of pastries - some very good, and some not so much (the 'croissants' were inedible).
