The breakfast was very good and had variety. The hotel lies in an incredibly beautiful forest and mountain area, near a river. The water in the river is clean and clear, thus making it the perfect bathing spot. There are also so many small and big waterfalls everywhere. The rooms themselves are big and beautifully decorated. The mattresses were very comfortable to sleep on, and the beds themselves were all queen-sized to boot. The host, Adam, was very polite and willing to help anytime.

Spacious, clean and comfortable with a spectacular view to hills. Great terrace, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms helped us to enjoy our stay really much. Deer were just walking nearby, fast access to Josemite - all in all, we had a great experience with a responsive and kind host. Would recommend to couples, friends!

This is a fabulous, cosy lodge on top of the mountains in a small friendly community within the Sequoia National Forest. Dee was a wonderful hot and welcomed us as friends. There's an excellent saloon/bar and restaurant just a few yards from the lodge. It would be hard to find a better location with access to trails and vistas. Despite the recent fires and drought (this is being written in 2022) it is still very much worth a visit - the giant sequoias still stand strong.
