We live close by, so we came here previously.
We live close by, so we came here previously. We don't normally stay at the hotel when there is a convention because we live 15 minutes away. Due to the fact that the fireworks are going to be going off all night on July 4th we needed to wait to get away from that. The hotel is dirty and dated, especially the elevator, hall and our shower. Smoking banned yet cigarette smoke permeated the lobby. Staff was rude and indifferent. Couldn’t even provide coffee before 8:30 on a Sunday morning. DO NOT STAY HERE.Guest review byGaryUnited States - 10.0

Nice choice of eating places. Well-marked streets and businesses. The Applebee’s was wonderful with excellent service and good food. Steak and Shake was not clean, we ordered and then waited 30 minutes for our food. Won’t go there again!Guest review byGretaUnited States - 10.0
Collinsville is great for exactly what it needs to be great...
Collinsville is great for exactly what it needs to be great for. I go there every fall for a major Sci-fi/Gaming convention, and everything I need is right off the highway, centrally located to the convention center, and of enjoyable quality. The convention center itself is roomy, well laid out, and surrounded by ample parking. I've never not enjoyed my timebin Collinsville.Guest review byMichaelUnited States
