I lived in Dolores in the late 70s.

I lived in Dolores in the late 70s. I had forgotten how beautiful the surroundings are. It has changed a lot since I lived there. The bank is beautiful. Many of the buildings have been upgraded. Dolores is close to Cortez, Durango, Telluride and Mesa Verde Ruins.

Dolores is a very good alternative for the way to expensive Telluride. Very friendly people all over the village. Nice accomodation, nice suoermarket and nice second hand and first hand shops. Ideal landschap for hiking.
