Walking Main Street in East Aurora is a great way to relax.
Walking Main Street in East Aurora is a great way to relax. I grew up in nearby Orchard Park, so I knew what to expect. Vidler's is a must see, and hours can be spent there. Hopefully, the Aurora Theater will be able to open soon. Millard Fillmore House, Meibohm Art Gallery, and the Roycroft Campus are well worth visiting. I don't drink coffee myself, but I like to go to Taste, Elm Street Bakery, and have a loyalty card for McDuffie's Bakery. Too many great little shops to list, including a music store, sewing center and food co-op. There is a large CVS for good prices on forgotten essentials. If you have a car visit the Iron Kettle on Olean Rd for breakfast. If you venture a little farther south, stop at Emery Park, Colden or Holland. Travelling east, get to the Marilla Country Store. West will lead you to a great golf course in Orchard Park, moderate hiking at Chestnut Ridge Park/Eternal Flame Falls, and New Era field home of the Buffalo Bills.Guest review bySeeUnited States
