The Wildflower Inn is a quintessential quaint Vermont Inn. We came primarily to bike and were pleased with the easy access to shop across the street. The Inn itself was being refreshed, but looked like it was maintaining its charm. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect for a dip after a hot bike ride.

Great location close to the Kingdom Trail, in a small town with both a breakfast restaurant and lovely dinner place and pub. Very cosy spot. Staff is so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed being able to have a small bonfire by the creek. Facilities are excellent and rooms are comfortable. It’s a perfect place to relax after exploring the area.

Do you like mountain biking? Funky little towns? Skiing?

Do you like mountain biking? Funky little towns? Skiing? Nature? Then you'll love East Burke. It is a great Vermont town, with great locals at the eateries and pubs, and a fun vibe. It's rural, but that's why I love it here.

It was a small town with great energy.

It was a small town with great energy. It has the feel of cheers, where everyone knows your name; and is welcoming to those from out of town. We definitely hope to make our way back soon! Would recommend the Coffee Cabin for breakfast; the bistro above Hazel's taproom for dinner, Hazels taproom, and the Orange rind as another option. The other restsurant was closed during our stay, so hopefully we will get to try it next time.

    This lodge was fantastic.

This lodge was fantastic. Spacious room with a kitchenette, king-sized bed and even a fireplace. The food was great and the portions belly busting. All that, and the most beautiful view you could imagine. Of all the years I’ve traveled, I’d have to say this is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Certainly, the best place for the price.
