We stayed in Harrodsburg specifically to see my Granddaughter who is in training in the Kimme Program. We were only a few miles from The Farm she is in training with which made it very handy to spend time with her. We now wish we had stayed longer due to the beauty of the area.

We went there to see Shakertown/Shaker Village. It's one of our very favorites to visit and tour. It has the ambience of a Colonial Williamsburg, without all of the glitz and glamour. Harrodsburg has a wonderful state park with a small Civil War museum. The "old" town always strikes me as being "antebellum," although I imagine that most of the homes which seem that way are probably (much) newer.

the pool was closed. went and got the room for 2 nights with the pool being the only reason we picked this. the hktel was paid for in full immediately. no email and call or text saying the pool was closed so i had no time to do anything or get another hotel. absolutely horrible. would not pick again if i was paid to

The facility is beautiful with tons of historical information about the Shaker community. The staff is exceptional, and the office is staffed 24/7. The rooms are incredibly clean, and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel.

The hotel is actually a converted rooming area for the Shaker community. It is very rustic, but has all the amenities which one would expect of a hotel room. They also have a nice gift shop and restaurant.

Our room was nice and its a beautiful place to walk. Very good food . Sadly we were there on Monday when all the exhibits are closed. In fact, nearly the whole town of Harrodsburg was closed

Parking was excellent, lots of empty spaces, and the room was cleaned very well. The furnishings looked in fairly new shape, and the hotel at night wasn't noisy, in general.
