Hurricane is great because it's near Zion National Park and everything you can do there. We found a few great restaurants - River Rock Roasting Company's cinnamon rolls are not to be missed. We also loved Main Street Cafe. There's everything you need - grocery stores, Walmart, gas stations, and restaurants. While staying in Hurricane, we embarked on a Canyoning tour with Red Desert Adventure. It was phenomenal! If rappelling down waterfalls, climbing Via Ferratta, and zip lining across canyons sounds like your happy place, then I highly recommend it! We also hiked the Narrows. We picked up our gear the night before our adventure from Zion Guru, which has a parking lot.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0

Noisy fan was bad but as far as sleep went it was pretty quiet and it was close to the the golf course and close to many places to eat and stores.Internet was good. I've stayed in Hurricane many times over the years, as it offers economical motels and is a great location for day-trips to Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, and the surrounding area. Staying in either Springdale or St. George is much more expensive than staying in Hurricane, and Hurricane is close enough to all the sights that I want to see in the area. We stayed in Hurricane just because we wanted to visit Zion.
We stayed in Hurricane just because we wanted to visit Zion. And in fact, that was not a perfect choice. We should more explore closer areas, as Zion itself was very, very crowded. It was difficult to get there, no place to park a car in Springdale and crowds in the park itself. I recommend Kolob canyon as it was much less crowded.Guest review byPiotrPoland - 10.0
