    Very friendly town.

    Very friendly town. Old historic aesthetics in much of the town. Reasonably priced and located in an area with access to major highways. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of big city life but not to remote as to miss any major amenities that make life comfortable.

    The hosts went above and beyond all expectations! Our room was amazing, our bed was so comfortable and the hospitality we received is beyond words! We felt so welcomed and we were so moved by the kindness we received! When we go back to NC, we will never stay at another hotel again! The hosts made us feel like family!

    When we drove down the road and had to park downhill from the rental property, we could not stay. My friend who picked the property has multiple myeloma and did not realize she would have to carry her luggage on a graveled path that we could not roll our luggage on. We ended up staying in a hotel.

    We were looking for somewhere to spend a night on a trip, with our two dogs. They put us in a ground floor run with easy access to the dog walking area. It was right off the freeway, close to food choices, and meet our needs.
