Juneau has stunning scenery as expected. Try to visit during the Cruise Ship season but try not to visit Downtown when multiple ships are in port as the attractions are all booked up. Hiring a car is recommended to get around and see the site.Guest review byDarrenAustralia - 8.0

The glacier and the nature trails around the mountains were very nice. There were many nice restaurants, however they were fairly pricey. Juneau is a very unique place not only because of the Gold rush history, but because it's also the state capitol, so there's a lot to see and do! There's hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, a tram that takes you up Mt. Roberts, city tours and MENDENHALL Glacier!! SPECTACULAR! Both sea plane and helicopters going to the top. Juneau is a seafood lovers dream!! Fresh king crab, halibut, you name it... Yum! The city is clean and mostly flat. The sidewalks are even and easy to walk on. The air is fresh and the people are nice. There were 5 cruise ships docked in the harbor! I can't wait to go back!Guest review bySheriUnited States - 10.0

I enjoy going to Juneau. I'm a sucker for souvenir shops. I just love them. My husband doesn't get it but I just have to go in them! I have never spent more than 2 nights in Juneau,, waiting for the ferry. The Glacier is nice. I haven't really done much in Juneau other than shopping and the Glacier.Guest review byOstrom

There's about a 15 minute walk to the centre of town, also a grocery store about a 10 minute walk away.
