Loved Lake City and loved that we could ride our OHV all around the city. We loved the accommodations and our favorite place to eat was Southern Vittles. Our main activity was riding the OHV all around the city and doing the Alpine Loop. It was so beautiful there. I can't wait to go back. There were about 40 of us with 14 OHV's and we are all planning a return trip next summer.

Lake City is a great little place to base yourself while you enjoy all the surrounding area has to offer. Fabulous OHV trails to explore and ride as well as some great hikes including 14ers! Definitely recommend breakfast/coffee at the 'Bluebird Boutique' on the main road and then drinks/dinner at the 'Packer Saloon', a fun place with great food and good staff.

Very quiet during the week during tourist season - but that suits me fine. A bit short on restaurants during the week and for some reason the on two roads into Lake City are both under construction at the same time.
