A growing community but with the same hometown feel...
A growing community but with the same hometown feel atmosphere. Downtown Lemont is a great place to relax and enjoy, especially with the outdoor sitting area at the "Corner Stone Tavern" and "Tom's Place". I also visited "Smokey Row Antique" shop downtown which was filled with all kinds of collectibles and vintage items. I took a trip back in time at the "Lemont Historical Society" which has many items displayed telling the unique story of Lemont's history. Was Raised in Lemont on Derby Road, right by the DeLuxe Motel. Have had NUMEROUS family members and friends stay they over the Last 20 years, (different owners i'm sure",) but always nice and clean. The location was quiet. The 2 brewery restaurant was fabulous! Staff was polite and I lacked for nothing. I liked the location - near parks and Lemont. If you want a snack, the gas station is down the street.
