The town itself isn't a place I intended to visit, but if...
The town itself isn't a place I intended to visit, but if you are looking for a small town alternative to expensive rooms in San Antonio, Lockhart is an option. Simply because of the location on a busy street, I will not be staying again. It was really loud. I did fine with earplugs and Benadryl, but my husband can't handle noise and felt uncomfortable about the surroundings. There were a few sirens. BBQ located next to the hotel is open late and was TERRIFIC for a 10PM bedtime snack. The town is off the beaten path for sight-seeing, but if you are on your way to Austin, it's very close to the 130 tollway that saves you a lot of time in traffic, which is bad on I-35 almost any day of the week.Guest review byMarci CurranUnited States

It’s the perfect spot for any Austinite looking for a relaxing staycation. Besides the cozy beds and immaculate vibes my favorite part about the home is that you can shop their amazing collection of vintage finds!!! How cool is that?!
