The location is mesmerising - you are in the middle of the woods with a beautiful lake close by. Not too far from the main trails of the white mountains - really close to Mt Washington. Very nice people running the place. (photo of a lake/pond about half a mile from the inn)

The parking was convenient. Having a restaurant of such high quality was a bonus. The continental breakfast was good. The bedding was very comfortable and the deeper tub with a view of the TV was relaxing and convenient.

An exceptional rating in all categories might seem unreliable, but our experience was top shelf in every way. The booking, follow-up, directions, welcome, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere, owner interaction, and breakfast...all excellent.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Peter and Karen’s lovely, spotless home. From the moment I arrived, there was a warm, homely feeling—welcoming without ever being intrusive. Guests are free to use the common areas, and the shared fridge is a thoughtful touch for convenience. I stayed in a cozy double room that brought back memories of my teenage years, well furnished with a very comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was impeccably maintained and easy to use. The highlight of my stay was chatting with Peter and Karen, who generously shared their enthusiasm and invaluable recommendations for local hikes. Their kindness and passion for the area made my short visit even more memorable. I left wishing I could have stayed longer!

The facility is about 4.5 miles in off of Route 5.

The facility is about 4.5 miles in off of Route 5. There is nothing in the immediate area for conveniences (food or gas). So make sure you don’t leave the Conway area without filling up on both food and fuel. We stopped at Ebeneezer’s restaurant, which was way over priced for what it was. The menu in the unit must be really old or pre-COVID as the cheapest entree was a $18 burger and selections were extremely minimal.
