    The Overland Park area that we stayed in is very nice....modern and well maintained. Lots of curving streets to get mixed up on, but we had our phone GPS, so we were good. However, I would definitely recommend having a GPS for any city!

    The area is great for shopping and dining, and access to Royals/Chiefs (30 min) A lot of road construction. Enjoyed a fun weekend going toRoyals game on Friday and off Broadway show at the Starlight theater. (both 30 minutes away). The overall area has been developing for the last 20-30 years, so a lot of up to date shopping, restaurants and access to local events. Great for families involved in traveling sports. Infrastructure is adapting to growing population so there is a lot of road construction.

    Property looks like a low rent housing project, dirty stairwells and parking lot. Rooms had kitchen but no utensils, silverware or cups or coffee maker, iron board was filthy, hair dryer broken, iron leaked water. My double room was not available at the last minute before check in and billing got messed up.

    I was very disappointed in my room at the holiday inn due to the nonworking toilet, lack of towels when requested,beard stuble in bathroom sink and dirty carpet. I received immediate attention when my first review was sent in for the first time I stayed in the holiday inn (first day of my stay), but things did not get any better when I stayed two more nights consecutively to the first night. I am very disappointed and do not plan to stay at a holiday inn again. I even paid for an upgrade for my room.

    Fantastic restaurants and shopping.

    Fantastic restaurants and shopping. Love the Town Center shopping area. Also went to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of art. Very impressive! Favorite restaurant is Jack Stack. Easy to get around the city; good traffic flow. Live a few hours away and travel here once or twice per year.

    The hotel is so conveniently located.

    The hotel is so conveniently located. Shopping and restaurants are a short drive. We were there for outpatient visit at a nearby hospital which was within walking distance. The hotel looks new, we assume it has recently been updated it is so nice and well kept, which is always good for a sense of security and safety when visiting out of town. DO NOT skip breakfast. Something for everyone and the fresh fruit was a huge plus, the area was clean and well stocked.

    I came in to evaluate the property for upcoming groups - I am an Agency owner and Director of Community Affairs at a Radio Station. The staff was excellent and the room above standard. Additionally, an item of importance was left behind and I called the hotel that located the item and advised if I called Management tomorrow they should be able to ship it back to me.

    In my price range for one short night sleep, staff accepted a late checkout at noon iso 11am, which was convenient for me to leave luggage in the room while I was at the convention center, closeby, without any car (no rent available during that week-end in town due to some event).
