We were excited to be staying in Port Ludlow area.
We were excited to be staying in Port Ludlow area. The drive in was scenic and the marina area is beautiful. However, after several days we found little to do in the town area itself. There are maybe 2 restaurants and 1 store. The commercial area is very small and limited. It did feel warm and inviting. The area seemed pretty enclosed to the locals and various housing developments. Maybe we just didn't give it enough of a chance. Contrast that with Port Townsend which is very inviting to visitors with many amenities to visitors with different interests. I know, not entirely fair comparison but we probably would not visit nor stay in Port Ludlow area again. However, we did like the proximity to Indian Island/ Marrowstone Island, and Port Townsend.Guest review byBenjaminUnited States
