The ferry over was convenient and then once on the island...
The ferry over was convenient and then once on the island there were several golf cart rental businesses within walking distance. Of course there were plenty of bars and restaurants and night life. Also, there were other things to do like visit the Perry monument, they had the Monarch festival, a winery to taste wine and relax. We also toured the island on a golf cart. Nice and relaxing vacation spot. Rather expensive, but you have to expect that -- especially on an island where nearly everything is shipped in. There's much more to see and do than visit bars if you take the time to investigate. Goat Soup and Whisky is an excellent restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Good food at some great restaurants. Nice time with family for a casual couple day trip. Easy to get around island, although golf cart can be pricey. Bring your walking shoes.
