The Blues Museum was lovely, easy-to-follow and engagingly laid out. The central part of the city with parks and statues was beautiful. Public transport is making a comeback, and there are many walkable areas.

I took mine-year-old grandson to St Louis for 4 days. We had a wonderful trip the city museum was the highlight of the trip the St Louis zoo was a close second. The aquarium was okay. It wasn't as big as we had hoped. They did have a rope maze there which I'm sure would have been fun for somebody not afraid of heights like we were. The science center was okay but it was extremely crowded the day that we were there.

Went to see the Arch. Many others were there for baseball.

Went to see the Arch. Many others were there for baseball. If going for a specific reason then do not hesitate to visit St. Louis. Walking around downtown one could not help but notice many vacant buildings. The city seemed in decline. Was able to get the 3 recommended foods of St. Louis; Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Barbecue pork ribs, and Fried Ravioli. All 3 are worth searching out, especially the Butter Cake that we found at Schnuck's Grocery.

We did a pass thru on the way to a different state so only stayed one night. On the way home we stayed 4 days for the 4th of July celebration. We visited the Gateway Arch NP and went to the top of the arch and that was great views and fun. We also stayed for the fireworks which were Wonderful from right below the Arch. We also had fun on a riverboat cruise. If I were to do this again, I would watch the fireworks from across the river and then be able to see the Arch behind the fireworks, since they launch from a badge in the Mississippi river. We had fun at Union Station Ferris wheel and the Aquarium is there as well. We also walked from the Pear Tree Inn to tour the John Campbell historic house, the staff there were very friendly and it was an interesting and beautiful historic house to tour. It was very educational for our child as well.

I absolutely loved the Victorian architecture of so many beautiful structures. The older brick homes and neighborhoods are exquisite! No, getting around STL is encumbered by older and narrower roads that need repair.

We were on a US Tour (Bucket List) of sites across America. We put over 8000 miles on our automobile! The Saint Louis Arch was fantastic! The ride up and down the Arch was what I had expected. it took like 7 minutes up and 4 minutes down. The view from the top was fantastic. It was well worth the visit.

It's right behind the bus, greyhound bus, local metro train and Amtrack station. The downtown area and Gateway Arch are within quite walkable distances as are the main stadiums. The metro link to them is certainly as close as can be. The rooms are big. In need of a little modernisation - cosmetic retouch is fast becoming due - but nightly rates reflect this and its far removed from a terrible condition. TV, good Wifi, fridge.

Old-fashioned room but clean and well equipped. All was proper and fine, no special comment. Very close to downtown, you can easily reach it by walking along Market street and pass by all main attractions, government buildings and other venues, including the magnificent Union Station, few blocks far. Perfect location.

Hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and give us tips to enjoy the city. Breakfast was standard. The popcorn for happy hour is nice. 24-hour ice and drinks is a nice touch in the lounge/breakfast room.

The location was downtown, not too far from the ballpark downtown. The only issue was trying to get an Uber when leaving different venues, and because of how busy the downtown area was, I was unsuccessful.

Comfortable hotel right by the airport. I have stayed in several of the STL airport hotels and so far this is the best price/performance ration. Will probably stay here next time.
