We stopped on our way toe Kalispell and found this magical place! This place has everything! A restaurant, bar, poker nights, bowling alley, gem and mineral collection. Very kind staff, comfy beds and great location overlooking a very beautiful river!

Loved everything about this property. The beautiful views, the amazing property, close to the town and the amenities and still a peaceful and private location. The hosts had thought of everything with the property and supplied us with everything.

Fantastic. With wiev over the river and the mountains on both sides of the valley. A very large garden and patio with a lot of places to sit and enjoy. A very large a nice room. Fantastic and different breakfast meals every day made by our fantastic host Patti. Nice talks with the other guests over breakfast and with our other host Sam. They provided us with camping chairs so vi could sit with our feers in the river after a swim/dip in the hot weather.

Mostly it's a stop along the way to other areas.

Mostly it's a stop along the way to other areas. Not a lot of touristy activities but staying over is pleasant enough. The people in the town are friendly. It's very small and there are only a few restaurants, so don't expect fancy fare, just basic pizza or diner food. There is a full service grocery store despite the small size of the town if none of the take out is appealing to you. There is a national park with access just east of the town with a passable road into the wilderness (summer only) that leads to some really beautiful scenery along the Thompson River. Lots of fly fishing on the lower portions of the Thompson.

It's a small, quaint, and beautiful town. The residents are friendly and helpful. It seems ideal for a quick getaway or perfect for a pit stop when travelling longer distances. Plenty of nature, water, and scenic views around.

I was a bit concerned we would be in the middle of no-where but it ended up being on our way back to Spokane. The staff we interreacted with was great. We went to the bar expecting it to be dead on a Tuesday night and we opened the door to a bunch of people enjoying Trivia night. Prices were great. We also went for a morning hike on the trail along the river in front of the hotel which was very peaceful. The town is nice with a great little cafe with the very slow town deer walking about the road.

We have been staying at the Falls Motel for several years now and enjoy it every year. I am sad to hear they are closing next weekend and not reopening. Would be curious to know if the facility is for sale??
