Tropic was a cute little town just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. There are many small cabin hotels which I like better than the big hotels and some great restaurants. Tropic is an awesome safe and mellow little town that serves as an ideal base for visiting the park. Good facilities, to include, coffee shop, gas station with store, diner, restaurants and lodgings. Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce Canyon, as it's so close by but quiet. The Pizza Place, in town, is really solid pizza and beer and good service. This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon.
This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon. There are enough local establishments to supplement your visits to the local National Parks and other area attractions.
