Twain Harte is a charming, uncrowded downtown with a perfect balance. It features a few restaurants, bars, and adorable antique gift shops. The Twain Harte Market has everything you need, making it very convenient. There are also some great hiking trails nearby. I highly recommend visiting Columbia State Historic Park and Pinecrest Lake. The Historic Park includes buildings from the California Gold Rush era that remain today, while the 4-mile loop trail around Pinecrest Lake offers an easy to moderate hike—challenging but definitely doable.Guest review byJudyUnited States - 6.0
Charming little foothills community.

PARTY CENTRAL at the hotel LOCAL DINIG WAS LIMITED - the nearby pub was sold out of many items like 6, at 4PM. the restaurant next door was not open until 5pm and the menu was all online, but it was yesterdays menu. Twain Harte is a wonderful place to visit. We were there to buy a home. The forest and lakes are wonderful and there is always .something to do or go and see. We also have a gold claim near Twain Harte and the men in our family always enjoy mining.Guest review bypamelaUnited States
