United StatesWe recently stayed there for two nights. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and had the basics that we needed. The service was excellent, with the woman from the office always checking to make sure we had enough of everything and making sure we were comfortable. It is very quiet and not much to do in town, but close enough to do and see other things. We would definitely stay there again.

It's a quiet little town.
It's a quiet little town. My brother initially lived in Wallowa when they first moved to that side of the mountains. If you prefer a quiet place to stay rather than the hustle and bustle of Joseph then I'd suggest staying in Wallowa and then driving to Joseph and Wallowa Lake during the day for your activities. Joseph is less than 20 miles away. The view of the surrounding mountains both when driving through the canyon to get to Wallowa and once you're in Wallowa are amazing. No restaurants were open after 6 PM on a Sunday evening during height of tourism season. We understand though as it was haying season. We were able to buy food at the local grocery store and microwaved our dinners.Guest review bySaraUnited States

We traveled to hike in the mountains but rest in comfort at the motel. Towels and bedding were more typical of “home” and comfortable. I could see that the colors for the interior were updated and the air conditioner worked well!!
