This was a beautiful and warming, comfortable stay.

This was a beautiful and warming, comfortable stay. I wanted to stay an extra day but we were off to explore other parts of NH. Our room was so comfy and the bathroom exhaust fan also had a heater so it was nice and warm! Our bed was so comfortable and the duvet was soft and warm. We had Baked French Toast full of blueberries for breakfast with a mixed berry juice and fresh fruit. It was delicious. Our host was so approachable, open and friendly. I felt right at home. She gave us an overview of the things we could do around the area for our next day and came up with the best thing for us, the Minuteman National Park. This is where the first shot of the American Revolution was fired. My husband loves history and this was a highlight of our trip. Our stay was definitely an awesome experience we didn't expect. It's pretty great when you have something so neat to add onto a trip that doesn't have any firm pre-made plans. We sure lucked out!! With the fall and leaves changing colors and then the winter season her busy season begins the week we left!!

Warner is a great little town at the foot of Mount Kearsage.

Warner is a great little town at the foot of Mount Kearsage. There are many little New Hampshire towns in the area that truly give you the sense of what New Hampshire is. The people, the restaurants, flea markets, antique stores are all very personable and filled with fine people. The scenery the small little lakes, hiking the back trail of Mount Sunapee are very great things to do in the area. We as New Hampshire people like to visit Western New Hampshire because it is quieter and less crowded than the lakes region or the White mountains. Come and visit New Hampshire get off the beaten path and have a great experience.

It is a wonderful little town in New Hampshire and I almost pause to say so, because I want to keep it all to myself!!! But it is such a treasure. It is where the Kearsarge Mountain rd. will take you nearly to the summit of the mountain on an auto road which is great for folks who don't have time to climb or would prefer to drive up and see a wonderful, glorious view. The town has delicious food in their little cafes and there are really interesting museums such as the Telephone Museum, which my husband absolutely loved and the American Indian Museum, which is a MUST SEE because it is so informative and full of interesting artifacts. This town is a short drive to Sunapee and New London, other fascinating NH towns and makes a great 'out of the hub bub' place to park one self. It has charming covered bridges, book stores, gift shops and gardens. So much in a little village!!
