Visited Punta del Diablo at the beginning of December, still not high season, not warm enough, and quite empty. One night and one day were enough to visit the village and walk around the beaches! Beware of having cash with you, many lodgings and commerces don't accept credit cards as a payment method. Everything we needed was there and we felt right at home, not really wanting to leave as falling asleep and waking up the sound of the sea was very special. It was especially helpful to have sheets provided as other places in town didn’t always offer that and as we’re backpacking, we don’t carry bedding with us. Also, he makes a super nice breakfast. The only downside is that it is decently far (+-20 min walking) from the "town" where you can get food. But there is a great parrilla nearby, LAPARRILLA Punta del Diablo, which accepts card.
