The place is really cozy and beautiful. It’s a nice location to start your hike and the owner was helpful to guide me to the location of the city, which is not the easiest to find by yourself

Amazing stay in a yurt in the Nurata mountains. Food was great, yurt comfie and warm. Beautiful location among the walnut and fruit trees.

It was such a beautiful experience to meet such a nice farmer family. You get to know the culture and the agriculture of the region. Nature all around is wonderful. The children are cheerful and so lovely. I could go and visit the sacred wonderful tree and walk through such peaceful pathways, crossing little rivers with pure and crystal water coming from the mountains. The small village is very clean, with a rich fruit production (apples, apricots, walnuts, some small white sweet fruits). In the morning, I could go with Moxabbat to visit all their farm, understanding the hard work and their agro-ecological knowledge. The breakfast was delicious and super nutritious as all the production is organic. We had a lot of types of fruits, diary products, jellies and marmalades, eggs, ham, vegetables. All was so clean and with so much order. Very nice decorated, you feel they like so much their farm!! At the end, they gave me so many fruits, and typical sweets and farm products. All delicious and nutritious! they invited me to have a typical traditional dinner!! All delicious! The children were playful, respectful and very interested in other cultures. I would have liked to stay more. But one day, I'll return with my family! I'm Mexican and Swiss, so it was so interesting for me to have met them and even that we didn't speak a common language, we could use the sign language, and the smiling language, and of course the digital translator.

Nice breakfast. The other meals were fine as well. Guides take you into the mountains. The host plays music for you. Komil's place is actually two houses, one of Komil and one of his brother, and they both rent out a number of their rooms. There are two sanitary blocks with clean toilets and showers. Beds are hard, as most beds in Uzbekistan. The family is very modest, friendly and hospitable. Komil has been a teacher of music. His son is a driver and a mountain guide. The drive from Samarkand takes about 4 hours and costs around 250 dollars for a party of 10.

We had a wonderful stay in this small village homestay. The family was incredibly hospitable and made us feel like part of their home. The house is simple but very comfortable, with tasty traditional meals every day. We enjoyed walking through the surrounding hills and fields, and there’s even an ancient petroglyph site nearby that’s fascinating to visit. It’s also a perfect place to go hiking and really experience rural life. The quiet atmosphere and warm welcome made it a truly memorable trip. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover the authentic charm of Uzbekistan’s countryside.

We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!

This place is very good, cozy place, I liked it, I came for 1 night and I was 1 person, the price is very cheap, 20$ per person, lunch and dinner are very tasty. Very cheap place, cheap, I will come to Uzbekistan again, everything is close to Samarkand, the room in the hotel is simple, very comfortable and has a shower and toilet inside. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guesthouse nestled in the mountains, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The guesthouse offered breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, creating a serene and picturesque setting. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the range of activities offered. I had the chance to go horseriding for 300k sum, which was a fantastic way to explore the scenic surroundings. Additionally, I visited a really old tree ( "munzhrum tree", more than 1000 years) in a nearby village for 200k, went on a charming donkey ride for 250k, and took a trip to a salt lake for 200k. Each activity provided a unique perspective on the local area and added a special touch to my visit. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to dine with the family who runs the guesthouse. Sharing meals with them provided a unique and personal touch that made the experience even more special. Not only did I enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals, but I also had the chance to learn traditional cooking techniques directly from them. I particularly enjoyed learning how to make bread and cook "five fingers" pasta, which was both educational and rewarding. An added bonus was the presence of a good English speaker, who facilitated communication and made interactions with the family smooth and enjoyable. Transportation: I took a train from Tashkent to Djizak. Then in Djizak (with the help of friendly workers at the train station) I took a shared taxi to the village for 150k sum. I showed them the map on google map. On the map it looks like in Uhum village, but its in fact in Hayat village. For the trip back ( Hayat to Djizak) it cost me 300k sum. We enjoyed the stay at the guest house. We stayed 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the calm environment. The manager helps to organize trips, which we appreciated. In general Ruslan (the manager) was very friendly and making sure that all our needs are met during the stay. The food was good and the rooms spacious and clean.

We had a great stay at Nurata Eco Guesthouse! The room was clean and cozy, the mountain views were beautiful, and the garden was very peaceful. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!
