    So glad we picked Dalat as our holiday destination in our maiden trip to Vietnam. Loved the fact that it is not too touristy compared to the other states, and there are good number of nice eateries and cafes with great food and delicacies. The locals are friendly eventhough many couldn't speak English - but it's not a language barrier when you have Google translate :) Dalat is indeed a city of eternal spring - even when it was a relatively wet season when we visited (early September), weather had really been cool and lovely most days, and it'd only rained towards the evening / night.

    Definitely do the Cloud Hunting tour with Happy Days Travel. I got to them through aviator, but you can also contact them directly. The tour included breakfast at a high elevation looking at the clouds flowing below - stunning! Next was a tasting visit to a persimmon drying factory and then an organic strawberry farm. The tour completed with a coffee at a shop overlooking the city. Definitely would do again.

    A visit of DaLat is not only worthwhile for getting an impression of the French influence in Vietnam during the French Colonial period, but also to see "Crazy House", a worldwide unique expression of Vietnamese design genius (archiect), Dr Dang Viet Nga. Photos 1-9 show features of Crazy House, and Photo 10 is depicting the old (and still operative) Train Station.

    Wonderful city without alot of tourists, which is a plus. Weather is comfortable, and lots to do. Probably cheapest place in vietnam. Food options were great. Some touristy places may not be worth it, so consider avoiding, but many other options to consider

    Da Lat is like a different country in Vietnam.

    Da Lat is like a different country in Vietnam. The weather is mild and the wilderness is a ten minute drive away. After seeing the attractions like the waterfalls and everything else. I enjoyed walking around the lake for some much needed exercise. Da Lat is unique. Da Lat is stunning.

    Dalat itself has beautiful view of natural landscapes and pleasant atmosphere in many moths each year. Local people, including businesses, are able to help visitors enjoy such conditions if they are willing to. If not so, as some local business people had done, Dalat is losing some types of visitors (especially older generations who prefer "actual" service instead of superficial services which is rarely practiced nowadays.

    Set on a hill with lush grass, trees and landscapes are 17 villas spread over the resort. Experience the Vietnamese Cicada sound, incredible! The buildings are French Colonial and the rooms are massive. Its an escape from nearby busy Da Lat centre. The food was Top Quality if you experience Le Petit Restuarant or just chill in your huge room and have room service, The Pool and bar area was so nice. All the staff were great. It was the perfect 2 nights for us in our holiday be it more expensive, but worth it if you want to treat yourself

    The host was amazing!! Motorbike rental was very reasonable and easy to organise. Our double room was beautiful, spacious and had a great view of Da Lat. The space is very chilled with two rooftop terraces. The location is 15 min walk to the night market but a Grab taxi is €1 if you’re feeling tired. The host really made our stay and we are so grateful for the delicious Vietnamese drip coffee in the morning and the late check out on our last day. I highly recommend this property.

    I stayed here during Tet as it was one of the few places available. This is more is a local hotel, quite a distance for the main area of town. The owner doesn’t speak English and so there wasn’t much communication but that wasn’t an issue. Bed was Vietnamese style as in quite firm. Overall fine but possibly better options are available for foreign tourists.

    Great location, right in the centre of Da Lat. Very authentic experience. Super friendly hosts - although they didn’t speak English (and us no Vietnamese) - we communicated through Google translate and it worked ok. bedrooms comfortable.
