Wonderful location, overlooking the rice fields, it's very beautiful. You can do several hikes on your own in the beautiful surroundings. The view is amazing. Very friendly owner and staff. The owner gave us good directions to get to the place.

The location is unbelievable, the most beautiful place i have ever slept at. Amazing views. Very nice owners, made me dinner and a light breakfast. The stay is really authentic, all the animals roaming freely at the nearby field... just a wonderful place!!

Bikki is extremely friendly. I arrived late and she offered to make food. The dorm is large and beds are separated by curtains and have a mosquito net. Bikki was not feeling well the next day but still made tea and coffee and offered to make food. Unfortunately I could only stay for one night but if I return then I will stay for a lot longer

Our stay at Hoàng Su Phì - Móng Ngựa Homestay was amazing. The location, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and beautiful rice terraces, offered the perfect escape into nature. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were cozy and clean. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, giving us a true taste of local flavors. We also loved the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their traditions. If you're looking for an authentic, peaceful experience in the stunning countryside, this homestay is a great place to go to!

Panhou Retreat is located in Hoang Su Phi District in Ha Giang. All bungalows at Panhou Retreat are surrounded by ponds and vegetable gardens. Some rooms come with a private balcony and seating area.

What's not to like about this small piece of paradise. The pictures on booking.com are exactly like it is. It's a 5* retreat and you'll be treated as royalty. We were here in low season, so we were the only guests, but still all effort was being made. I absolutely loved it here. The food is great. Someone commented on here that it's expensive and that the food is expensive. If you're a backpacker on 13 $ a day, then no, this is not the place. If you're willing to spend time and money, then yes. I thought price / quality (for Vietnam) was in order and not outrageous. There is a great walk around the retreat which takes you through local communities, the town is walking distance and we had lunch there. During our stay the electricity in the whole area was off, but the hotel has a generator, so nothing bothered us. I highly recommend this place. The road to it is bumpy and steep, but very km worth it. It was one of my favourite stays in Vietnam.
