the receptionist girl was so good. The hotel should be proud of having her :) She is the star of this place, we loved her kindness. Our stay was also great, breakfast was good and everyone was very helpful. You can hear gibbons from your room 🤯🤯🤯 Literally 1 minute walking from Cat Tien National Park, awesome.

Honestly, this has been one of our nicest stays in Vietnam. The host has been so friendly and helpful. We relied on Google translate a lot, but it all worked. Our room was so clean, it sparkled. The beds were firm but comfortable. The shower room fresh and clean. Breakfasts were good, and varied over the days we stayed. The homestay was very convenient for Nam Cat Tien park entrance and there were many options for other food close by. We even loved the noisy gecko calls at night! Oir host helped me book a bus back to HCMC and kept our bags while we had a last birdwatching visit to the park before our bus. We arrived expecting rustic accommodation but this far exceeded all expectations.

Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!

It's a nice place with a lovely fruit garden. Our bungalow had everything we needed. There is a restaurant on site and they rent out really nice bikes for riding in the national park - be aware however that the ferry charges extra for taking bikes to the park. The owner was very welcoming and helped us plan our stay and book trips around the park. She also organized our transport to HCMC and went out of her way to help us get a jacket returned to us that we left in the car.

Although Green Hope Lodge is family run and thinly staffed, we received attentive services from Mr Luan (the main host), who spoke fluent English and patiently addressed all our questions about transportation to Cat Tien, booked taxi/bus for us where necessary, helped us to book tours at the Park Headquarters, and provided anti-leech socks and cream for the wild gibbons trekking tour. The room was equipped with basic facilities but very clean with a scenic “balcony” outside overlooking the Dong Nai river. Surprisingly there wasn’t any mosquitoes (but mosquito incense sticks and mosquito nets were nonetheless provided). We had lunch and dinner at the lodge and the meals were very yummy and reasonably priced (one third cheaper but more delicious than in the Yellow Bamboo restaurant near the Park Headquarters). Their fried rice and stir fried vegetables were outstanding. I’d highly recommend Green Hope Lodge.
