This is an exceptional and truly charming hotel. For context, we are well travelled and have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world. There is something very special about Garrya Mu Cang Chai. Firstly, the hotel design is beautiful and reflects the local area. Stunning communal spaces with high bamboo ceilings, green marble tiles used in the pool, sun loungers the same colour as the soil etc. The staff are wonderful. Extremely helpful, proud to be working at the hotel and genuinely want you to have the best stay. Special mention to Luis in the bar and the F&B manager, but really, all the drivers, wait staff and reception have genuine smiles on their faces! They are also proud to employ local staff (H’Mong) that they are training up and again just really want to make your stay as good as possible. We were lucky enough to stay in a 2 bedroom villa with pool and it was beautiful. We also saw the rooms and if you are a couple, I would definitely recommend upgrading to the Grand Deluxe room, (not much more expensive and IMO the deluxe room is too small for a hotel of this calibre)! If you have a sense of adventure, the hotel can organise a motorbike trip to the horseshoe paddy and bamboo forest. Mu Cang Chai is an area of outstanding natural beauty and well worth exploring. This was one of our favourite parts of the trip. Spa is excellent, as were the activities organised by the hotel. Gently, but enough for 2-3 nights.

Mu Cang Chai Homestay and trekking is managed by Ky and his wife they are both very welcoming and available to give us all sort of information The location is high at about 20 minutes from Mu Can Chai town You can enjoy beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere! They cook dinner and breakfast for you and the options to discover the area by trekking or with a motorbike tour are many !

This is just paradise!!! It worth every penny. We stayed as a family of 4 and booked 2 experience rooms. They both had amazing view, very spacious room, well designed, very clean. Just waking up every morning with such views - you can't get enough! - whole resort is fantastic!! Lots of scenic places! - Aeris hill is a great way to have fun (especially the long zipline) - The bar is great and biliard was free, good way to spend some time as a family - Hot springs are also nice, with very good view - We took half-board and I think it's the right choice, vietnamese dinner has a lot of different dishes (really like 7 or 8 and they are very big size), so everyone will find something to eat. - special thanks to the staff for arranging transfer back to Hanoi, it was actually cheaper than we came from Hanoi and it was much better service / driving

We loved everything, this place is wonderfull ! The owner is realy kind and a very cook ! We get very good tips to travel around. Ho, and you can have a room with a great view and very hot water !!! Thanks to A Su and his amazing family for an unforgettable stay at their homestay. We stayed for 4 nights - this included a hike to a local waterfall, viewpoint and through the Hmong village. We also hiked up Tà Chì Nhù with a local guide and camped for the night near the summit. A Su helped us organise everything, including our travel back to Hanoi. The food was the best we have had in Vietnam and they catered to our vegetarian needs. The room was pure luxury and well equipped for all our needs. This is truly the best place in Vietnam, you must stay here and soak up the nature and H'mong culture.
