Hoa the owner was absolutely amazing from the very first moment. She took care of EVERYTHING in our staying from picking us up from the bus station in the middle of the night, earlier than expected, through free early check in to dinners and renting a motorbike. The place is spectacular and calming. Everything was beautiful. The location is 10 minutes driving from the center that is anyhow not that epic so we didn't mind. It was quiet and amazing.

Lovely, friendly people. Offered me coffee and breakfast one morning which was nice and also gave me a lift into town on the motorbike while mine was being repaired. Is slightly out of the way so ideally you would want a bike to get into Phong Nha

We loved our stay in Phong Nha and Son helped us make it even more smooth. We rented scooters from him and went on an adventure in the jungle. The location is close enough to the town and the restaurants and very close to the main roads to take you to the main points of interest such as paradise cave etc. The bungalows were clean and even though Son will try to say that his showers aren't the best, they are actually Japanese made and did a fine job. Great value for your money and the personal attention you'll get from the host will make it all the more worth it. Highly recommend and we'll probably be back to stay with Son and his family.
