The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

It’s a good and special feeling to go back in time in De Oude Pastorie! Warm hospitality and the best heavenly omelette forever for breakfast!✨🧚🏼‍♂️😋 Thank you Antoné for your nice helpful service! Swellendam is a very cute little town, the third oldest town in South Africa. It has a nice historic museum, good quality restaurants and an amazing nature reserve. We loved the very unique Marloth Nature Reserve (taken the route nr.2.)! Everything together will remain a very good memory for us.

Patrick was great, the room is very clean and has all the amenities. The balcony was amazing and the view was amazing, it was the best choice of lodging if you are passing by the Garden Route.

The rooms are cozy and clean. The breakfast was excellent: strong coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a choice of delicious menu items. Exceptionally professional and pleasant staff. Owners were delightful and truly cared about our comfort and stay. I cannot say enough about the on-site restaurant. We travel all over the world and we found the restaurant to be world-class: beautiful presentation, creative dishes, excellent wine list, knowledgeable and professional service, and plentiful entree combinations.
