The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

It’s a good and special feeling to go back in time in De Oude Pastorie! Warm hospitality and the best heavenly omelette forever for breakfast!✨🧚🏼‍♂️😋 Thank you Antoné for your nice helpful service! Swellendam is a very cute little town, the third oldest town in South Africa. It has a nice historic museum, good quality restaurants and an amazing nature reserve. We loved the very unique Marloth Nature Reserve (taken the route nr.2.)! Everything together will remain a very good memory for us.

Amazing value , fantastic hosts , brilliant breakfast, especially the locally smoked trout . Room was immaculate and spacious, beds super comfy . Lovely gardens and pool , lots of thoughtful little things to enhance our stay from insect repellent to great coffee in the room !
