I was offered an upgrade to the King suite, which is just outstanding. This and the spacious pool / lapa area made this stay just awesome. The host is just so very helpful with anything and helped to make the stay in the cederbergs area the best possible. A perfect accommodation!!

    We have visited Clanwilliam frequently and have always enjoyed our stay there. We were disappointed in our choice of stay this time as we felt that no one other than Peter, the Malawian assistant, was at all interested in whether we were there or not and that very little thought had been put into making guests feel comfortable or welcome.

    We were very well treated by everyone in Clanwilliam and had we not been having car problems we would have stayed longer to explore the nearby Biedouw Valley flowers and the Clanwilliam Gardens and big Dam.

    absolutely terrible from the car parking being unsafe ,...

    absolutely terrible from the car parking being unsafe ,vagrants at door , dark ,smelly reception . The receptionist was kind and polite . walking to the rooms the corridor was dark and dingy , the rooms were so old fashioned , needs a good pot of paint and bathrooms were from the dark ages ,mouldy and off white .

    I know Clanwilliam well over many years.

    I know Clanwilliam well over many years. It is a good base but we were there just one night so no time to visit Ramskop or browse the shops. It is a goos base especially in the flower season. Sadly we missed the Annual Flower Show which I always enjoy. Our stay in 3 Leipolt Street was very comfortable and i commend our host for her friendly welcome and seeing us off. Added touches were noted such as the bottle of wine, rooibos tea, rusks. Recommended a very upmarket restaurant across the street - we had an excellent meal there with an extra careful waiter - new on the job and from Wuppertal, so good to employ local staff and train them.

    Besides going to view the flowers (which was the main reason for going) and visiting the Gaol House/ Museum, with a super enthusiastic guide, there was not much else to see or do. There were no quaint shops to visit and everything was closed on the Sunday. The only restaurant choice was the Hotel.

    The house is in the Main Street in Clanwilliam but once you go round to the back of the property where the rooms are it is peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains from the veranda. The rooms are very nicely done with very comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms with a nice shower . The kitchenette in our room had everything we needed. This is very nice accommodation - so many nice touches. We thought the decor was very tasteful

    AC unit to heat the room & electric blanket on bed - it was cold at night in Clanwilliam. Good quality king-size bed with good linen on it. Tasty breakfast, served at the table, made to order. Complimentary sherry - Clanwilliam was cold while we were there and the sherry was most welcome. Good wi-fi (although it didn't work during loadshedding). Pretty & interesting garden. Parking inside the property.

    Tannie nelda and oom Phillip were the epitome of gracious hosts, they were kind, friendly, accommodating and the stay was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or long stay in Clanwilliam. We were on a fishing trip and they accommodated us perfectly. Nice amenities even during load shedding there is a backup light, fan and LEDs.

    The check in process went very well. The person that assisted me was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located in the town and close to various amenities. The breakfast was also good but limited in what was provided, especially for halal options.
