What a beautiful view and a fantastic place. The staff was so friendly and help a lot, if we ask for help. Everyone was so nice at the restaurant, in the shop, at the adventurecenter, at the reception and the gate. So nice with the kudos walking around the area. We felt very safe. We would really recommend this place!

We stayed here on our way to the Kruger. Very easy to find and in a lovely quiet area. This is not like staying at a B&B, it's like staying with friends. Very warm and welcoming, you're looked after extremely well. Food was really really good, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms have everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended - I'll stay here again if I'm on this route

The lodge was extremely comfortable, luxurious and relaxing. The rooms were spacious with wonderful views across the bush. seating outside was comfortable and private. The restaurant area and communal lounge area was very tastefully decorated in keeping with nature , local culture and the environment. The information in the rooms was not only extremely informative but interesting across a range of subjects from the local school to the flora and fauna. Peter and Claudia were very welcoming and helpful and we really wished we had planned to stay longer as there was clearly so much to do in the area and we will definitely return the next time we are heading out on safari.

An amazing place and friendly people!🥰 The accommodation was stunning, and having the river so close was a real bonus. Each kid found special treats waiting on their beds, which was a sweet touch. The jacuzzi was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Everyone we met was so friendly, we felt right at home and didn't want to leave.

One of the best places we visited during our three-week honeymoon, thanks to the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, the breathtaking views, and the sense of peace the place offers. What makes it even more special is knowing that your money supports a project with purpose, focusing on environmental sustainability, education and local community. One unforgettable moment was waking up at 4 a.m. to the sound of heavy footsteps, only to discover two giraffes right in front of our tent. Encounters like this are rare given the size of the property, but it shows the beauty of the surroundings. Even on your way to the lodge, you might spot some wildlife, almost like having your own private game drive. We also did a sunset drive with a guide, which was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend spending at least two or three nights here, with a full day dedicated just to relaxing in the lodge.
