Everything was perfect. The welcoming of Cherryl when we arrived was great even though we were to late. The appartement was above our expectations. The peace and quiet at the buckhouse and heidelberg. Cherryl gave us tips for places to visit, restaurants , ... Everything we needed to know any questions she always had the answer. And she was great with the kids also. Cherryl and her husband are really the most friendly hosts we ever met

Everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away and enjoy some piece in nature. We stayed for 4 nights and that still was not enough to enjoy everything the place had to offer.

We had an exceptional evening together We loved the outside shower The prices reflect the age of the building but, the service of the owner is outstanding.

The farm is sorrounded by beautiful nature. Linda prepares you well for the drive over the gravel road with exact directions. Even our small rental car made it without problems and since its only one road it is easy to find. Driving slowly you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The best part of the stay was that I had the chance to go on trail horse back rides through these stunning fields and forests with mountain views. The horses are well trained and suitable for every level of experience. Linda was a great guide giving Information about the farm, the surroundings and the horses. She made me feel super comfortable and safe on the ride. Also a big thank you to Eunice who helped with all kinds of questions and needs like towels for the beautiful pool. I definately want to come back.

What a peaceful oasis. Anna and Arno are lovely hosts who do everything to make you feel at home. They also gave me great tips for my next day's trip. The place is quiet, you just hear the birds singing, so your mind can really calm down instantly. I loved having my meals on the veranda with a view. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding, all fresh and high quality ingredients, plus a lot of it homemade by Anna (her homebaked bread is fabulous, and the chutney and jams, too!). I even got to taste some South African specialties. Anna catered perfectly to my vegetarian needs. The mattress was on the harder side, which was good for my back. The place is incredible - so many antiques, and almost all of them are far from randomly bought - instead, they belong to Anna's family, so it is "the real deal" and gives the place its soul. If you like it minimalist and modern - this is not your place. But if you like something unique and vintage with wonderful hosts, this will be to your liking. Also Anna had put some lovely plant decoration everywhere, with so much attention to detail. The doggos were super cuddly and friendly, too. Thank you Anna and Arno, I will gladly return when back in this area!
