Customer service was beyond this world. Everyone's aim to make ur stay to be as comfy as possible. Cart drivers, reception team the resturant team. Woww. Planned a few activities for my hubby's birthday.. cake delivery, massage sessions, game drive, romantic picnic...i tell you every single one was delivered as per plan. I couldnt have fekt better... just seing hubby beaming every sinble minute of that weekend🤣. And he actually said we are coming back🤗

Staff welcomed us even during a terrible storm, they were very helpful and friendly, made us a lovely dinner - was delicious, compliments to the chef and staff, the tranquility and ambience of everything is so well put together, huge compliment to the host, beautiful interior design and decor made us feel right at home , will definately recommend, thank you for all the extra efforts you made, we really apreciated it , Annie and Dirk de Vos

It is located in a quiet peaceful place. Mike & Kim are excellent hosts & they go all out to ensure their guests are comfortable. We also had the pleasure to explore & tour their beautiful factory where they manufacture their own furniture which is amazing & stylish. They share love & nature with their guests. If you want a quiet and peaceful vacation, House On The Hill offers all that and more. We are definitely going back soon.

The owners were welcoming they made us feel at home, they were available to assist at any reasonable time, the house keeping lady is so humble and friendly, the rooms had all the basic kitchen essentials, bathroom as well had everything needed, the gardens were beautiful the property in general is tranquil, spotless clean room,clean swimming pools and we liked the bench facing the Jukskei river

    The facility is best for people who are travelling using Lanseria Airport not for a quite weekend away or relaxing The structure is not built of bricks so noise travels easily. It’s gets too hot or too cold and you have to control the temperature by air conditioning. The mattress was not comfortable at all

    I really liked that the accommodation accommodated my...

    I really liked that the accommodation accommodated my request. There was a cot for my son. The following morning the pipes were frozen because it was so cold, they extended check out to accommodate for that issue. Really enjoyed the fact that Martha ensured all our needs were met.

    Lanseria is beautiful and surrounded with adventures, lakes, museums, arts, lots of restaurants and farm villages, bush lodges and animal sanctuaries. Try Fat olive restaurant, culinary table restaurant, Maggie's farm restaurants, hartebeespoort, cradle of the humankind, etc...lots of places to visit and things to do.

    The worse things ever at Shumba Valley Logde 1.Breakfast was too bad unable to prepare on time.And what is being displayed at the advert is not true,they misled traveller's food is limited only one flavour of juice,few muffins on the displayed everything must be requested there's absolutely nothing especially when you request for omelet there is nothing for topping only peppers, no mushrooms is an embarrassment.

    The lodge priority is with having day visitors and not for the guests. Totally over crowded with visitors which means the guests cant use the facilities. Loud music and private functions that carry on until 10pm at night and noise until midnight. False advertising of peaceful beak away lodge.

    This hotel was a little oasis in the middle of nowhere! Really not that far from the airport at Johannesburg but for an out of towner, we had no idea where we were headed. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were fabulous and very helpful. Very quiet and a lovely pool.
