It is not far from the free way yet once you reach the place...
It is not far from the free way yet once you reach the place it feels like you are far because of it's isolated location. It is therapeutic to look out the window and see bucks roaming not far from the cottages. I came back calm and relaxed as if I had visited the rural area because of the beautiful vegetation in the property. Lion's River is a beautiful area, in actual fact I would rate it as a hidden gem. There are many places to stop off at and I certainly would recommend it and visit the area again. The Nelson Mandela Capture site is closeby, many coffee shops and places of interest. I loved the setting, it is remote and quiet, very much a nature lovers place. The cottage was clean, comfortable and private. As part of the Midlands meander. Lots of place to stop and visit. Coffee, beer and wine farms all available to visit and taste the products made on site. People are friendly and for the concerned, area is safe to relax and get out for a cycle, run or walk.Guest review byMichael
