We had a great stay! It was super convenient to be able to do a self check-in late at night after a long day of travel. The place itself is beautiful—spacious, clean, and really well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and hassle-free experience!

Great place, great location with walking distance to checkers, the village, surfers corner etc Bluebird market is practically the neighbor. Loved the pool area as well as the shared space including lounge, dining area, kitchen. Spacious rooms and units. Think I just found my second home in Cape Town.

The Muize is a lovely, comfortable, friendly and clean hotel. My room was spacious and very comfortable, very well cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious and served at the communal breakfast table where I met friendly travellers from all over the world. All of the staff are professional, efficient and friendly.

Wonderful Place, Staff (Lauren, Andrew and Taryn), view, location. Don’t miss the market right Below. Friendly, accomodating and sincere. Extraordinary view. I could put the 132 steps to the guesthouse as a minus but Will put it in as a plus, extra training. If you have diffuculties climbing stairs this might not be the Place for you, but my 70-year-old mother-in-law made it, and it is definitely worth the climb once you get there.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at this hostel! The owners were incredibly friendly, always helpful, and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The nearby beach is absolutely beautiful – perfect for watching the sunrise and just a short walk away. The hostel itself is modern, freshly renovated, and very clean. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay with good vibes ! It is a walking distance to the beach and the town for a coffee. You can buy cheap delicious fruits by crossing the road. Maryna and her team always make sure you have a good time and are always very helpful. The place is cleaned and we always meet great people. A lot of fun. Thank you very much for a great time 🥰

    Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

    Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who...

    Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth. A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.

    Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

    I loved the views, and the marina area is nice for running and walking. I did not go to the beach but I believe it to be good for surfing etc. a small trip South takes one to an array of vibrant restaurants. Really great atmosphere and a wonderful area to run and walk in.

    The hosts Jennifer and Nic, were very friendly and accommodating. The best!! Beautiful clean room with everything that is needed for your holiday in majestic Muizenberg. The Geusthouse is situated near all amenities. Great location near the sea which is swimable not too cold. Very close to Kalk bay with all the tidal pools, fishoek and Simon's town. It is a safe are whereby you can go for long walks on the beach near surfers Corner with all the restaurants. great coffee places as well as food. Tigers milk very vibey great place

    I loved their amenities. Tea, coffee, milk, still water, sparkling water, biscuits, etc. They even have olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coarse salt, and pepper. There is a small oven with a stovetop, microwave, kettle, and air fryer. The location is perfect, walking distance from the famous surfer's corner area and you are right across the Muizenberg Park which is also the starting point for some mountain hiking trails. Remember to never hike alone.

    This is the third time we have stayed at Surfers Corner and were pleased to be back. Well equipped apartment, airy, very clean. Safe apartment, secure block and parking. Excellent location right on the seafront. Excellent communication with owners and quick responses. Great place for holidays. Good value for money. We hope to return soon.     Warm welcome to a safe and clean space! The Place Muizenberg provided us with so much comfort, we felt right at home. It is always stressful to travel with our twins, but the comfort provided by The Place made it a breeze. We received a great breakfast (with smiles). Would 100% recommend!
