This was the nicest stay we have had in Johannesburg. Easy to find but out of the way. Tracy and the rest of the staff were amazing. The accommodations were beautiful. Facilities were just perfect. The gardens were beautiful. We relaxed every minute of our stay. We will definitely book here next time. ❤️

Friendly staff, especially Martha at the front desk, who made sure my needs were addressed speedily. The location was excellent, close to the mall and to the place I was visiting. The breakfast was amazing, and I loved the takeaway coffee cups to cater for those leaving the hotel every morning.

I had a lovely stay at GrootBoom. I received a warm welcome from the gracious Old Lady and was greeted by the friendliest dogs on site. The room was a beautiful, comfortable space with a soft bed and full pillows, and the shower was spotless. The location is very convenient, close to Castle Gate Shopping Centre and Menlyn Maine Shopping Centre. Highly recommended!

    The property was apparently marketed in error as none of the units were ready for guests. Something to do with break-ins, and squatting at the property, the change in management of the units, and the current refurbishment. The booking had to be cancelled and a refund has been requested.
