Gale was a wonderful host. She accommodated us for the late check-in. She made us feel special and was very responsive everytime we had questions. Plaisir is a beautiful wine estate; we did the wine tasting, visited it with the wine tram, walked their trails and overall had an amazing time. The room doesn't have any views, but the pool with outstanding views is a few minutes walk away. Thank you Gale, for your hospitality!

We stayed in one of the vineyard rooms, which was really lovely! Nice big bedroom and big bathroom and massive bed! Very light and spacious with everything you need, good A/C, balcony etc, the room was fantastic and the views over the vineyard were lovely. It takes about 30s to walk from the rooms to the reception, which is attached to the Savoye restaurant (the site's main restaurant), of which the pool is right in front of, which makes it a really great place to stay in terms of really easily dipping in and out of the pool > to breakfast > popping back to the room etc. The staff were lovely too. There's a complimentary wine tasting with the booking which was great and really informative, our staff member was excellent. A small shop just by the wine tasting too. It's one of the smaller vineyards but I would say that it made it a really lovely place to stay. I'd definitely recommend!

    It was exactly what I expected, and needed.

    It was exactly what I expected, and needed. Quiet, secluded and clean. It has a lovely bistro across the road that served amazing food and even had a bakery. The loft itself, had DSTv, a small kitchenette, and amazing bath/shower and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Easy to get around, stayed at Babylonstoren and ate and drank at the property. Food was great, fresh and healthy but the property is way too busy with "Day visitors" - talking bus loads....... Other than that and if you don't mind people milling everywhere a beautiful location

    We got the two bedroom cottage - it’s like having your own house. All the complimentary tours the hotel offers are amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The food is insane, fresh, delicious. There are three pools, incredible walks, chickens roaming around. Every day at 5 pm someone knocks on your door to offer you an amuse bouche and in the morning they re-stock your fresh fruit in the room from the orchard. We even had two days of rain and we had the best time.

    The Property must have a big sign on the road, like other lodges or hotels, which shows the direction from the main road. The property can attract more tourists or people if they can use the open space to generate their own power by erecting a solar power plant.
