Wonderful service from the staff who welcome you with a traditional Bhutanese khata (scarf) and welcome drink. The room itself was large and well-appointed. Great location in the bustling heart of Thimphu, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The restaurant serves a small selection of Bhutanese dishes which were delicious.

Nice place on the edge of Paro, but within walking distance to all the souvenir shops. The food served in the restaurant was very nice as well. It is around a 5 min drive to the airport and they provide a packed breakfast if you need to check out early (most flights leave Paro in the morning). Happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Paro.

It was clean, quiet, and everything was functional and orderly. Since the moment we entered the hotel and were greeting with a traditional drink, the owner and staff were more than attentive and accommodating. They helped us with everything: driving us to where we needed to go, helping plan activities, booking hotels in other cities, getting reservations at hot stone baths and more. The food was good and the coffee was also quite good. In all, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Doté d'une piscine intérieure, d'un spa, d'un centre de bien-être et d'une salle de sport, l'établissement Le Méridien Thimphu est situé à Thimphu. Perfect and comfortable stay, with family including elderly parents and our toddler daughter. Hotel had all necessary facilities, good choice of food, great location and very very helpful staff. Using the Indoor heated swimming pool in the cold weather was the highlight !

It felt like I was visiting a close friend or a relative. The staff as well as the owner Mr Ugyen were exceptional hosts - extremely helpful, and polite which made our stay a wonderful experience. Right from great recommendations for food, places to visit, as well as for the very pleasant conversations with the owner during the cold Thimpu evenings - this trip will always be memorable. I rarely write recommendations, but this place and the people definitely deserve it. I wouldn't hesitate even for a second to book Kisa Villa again if I ever get a chance to visit thimpu again.

I felt like part of the family. Thanks to Tsering and her daughter Dawa who went out of their way to look after me in every way possible. The food was absolutely delicious. The guest house itself was new, comfortable, warm, quiet, and had a nice view. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food and menu. They also have a terrace where you can spend time enjoying a scenic mountain view. The hotel room is equipped with a heater among all the modern amenities. They attended to our every need. Highly recommended for family & solo travellers.
