First and foremost, the people! Meem and Jeff are such generous and warm individuals. They are the perfect hosts to a homestay. From the moment I walked into their tranquil garden, I could tell that they've taken meticulous care of their home - yes, a home, because they did not use the word "homestay" slightly. They provided all kinds of amenities to help make our travel easier, from the use of a motorcycle, to directions to all nearby attractions and a ride to the airport (we truly appreciate this)! The photos don't do this place justice. Next time we come back, it won't be just for a stopover, but a longer stay to soak in everything this place has to offer.

The breakfast was served in the garden under a small pagoda. I had the eggs in a pan - Vietnamese style, with lots of peppers and ground pork. The breakfast was very good.

Everything!! The owners are super friendly and helpful and generous. The area is peaceful and quiet. The farm vibe is relaxing. The food is yummy. The service is excellent. Breakfast was served on a tray outside my room every morning, though there is a large patio and a coffee shop at the main house where guests can eat if they want. The owner helped organize transport to the waterfall and anywhere else I wanted to be, even though he was in Bangkok at the time. The staff are friendly, punctual and respectful. It felt more like I was visiting family than staying at a resort. I definitely recommend this awesome little hideaway to anyone who needs a break from the hustle and bustle. It felt like I was living in an English cottage in the countryside! 😊 The area is laid back village, but everything is easily accessible, like markets and places of interest. MomMin Farmstay is fantastic for a private retreat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“If you’re considering staying here, you should definitely read this: the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Designed by the owner Stacy, every little detail has been carefully thought out to make it cozy, comfortable, and perfect. We stayed at the Cactus Villa, which was stunning and truly felt like a home away from home. The photos online don’t do justice to this beautiful place—it’s even more incredible in person. The staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating—they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Lou Lou Restaurant was a highlight—the food was so good that we kept ordering more, and the pricing for both food and drinks was very reasonable compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, we experienced food poisoning during our last two days, but the staff were incredibly helpful and caring, doing everything they could to assist us. This hotel is truly unique—offering a boutique feel rather than a big resort vibe. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the perfect spot for you. This was, hands down, the best place we've stayed in all of our travels. It's family run and they really make you feel like family. We were only booked to stay 2 nights before moving closer into the city but we loved it so much that we canceled our other hotel bookings and stayed at the Secret Garden for our whole trip to Chiang Mai. The environment is enchanting and cozy with amazing plants and sounds all around, even though you're a short bike ride from a nearby city street with great food and shopping areas. We borrowed some bikes the first day and rented a moped our second day and Isabel and her family were the absolute best with everything. Getting a Grab car for trips further into Chiang Mai was super easy and not expensive at all either. It was great to come back after a busy day to a more relaxing space too. The food and family feel was amazing and I would 1000% come back here and bring all my friends and family! Including kiddos because the play area and pool area are great too! Cannot sing enough praises about the Secret Garden!
