Excellent service with a lovely staff, very close from the highway and to visit Stonehenge and other places in the region. Very good buffet to have breakfast. The room was very quiet and good size. Tea and coffee in the room.

We really loved this hotel. It’s located in a beautiful spot, the building and grounds are gorgeous. When we arrived there were deer, rabbits and hares running around on the lawns. It felt magical! Lovely staff, rooms were faultless and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We were very happy to have a cooked to order breakfast and the eggs Royal were so good, the egg yolks were so bright and orange that it’s almost like they were laid that morning. Bed was extremely comfy and it was peaceful. The hotel is decorated in an classic contemporary style which is very elegant with flare.

The spa was lovely and relaxing with a sauna steam room gym etc, the food was fantastic especially the breakfast and the rooms are so gorgeous clean with big baths ( we stayed in the manor) we had the most beautiful relaxing stay the bar was gorgeous with outside seating and a gorgeous tree swing.

This unique 18th-century inn is situated between Winchester Cathedral and the college, tucked away in the quietest corner of the city. The city-centre is a 5-minute walk away.
