A wonderful experience, a charming hotel with a delicious breakfast and beautiful decor. We were on the top floor, and although there are some stairs to climb, it's worth it for the window that allows you to sleep between the moors and the stars. The staff was charming and communicative; they let us in a little early and were very kind, recommending places to visit. I hope we can come back someday.

We have stayed here before , this trip of five days , was extended by a further two nights The management and staff of this homely hotel know their craft. The aim is to make the visitor / client comfortable…..ready for work or pleasure. The rooms are spot less , the beds ..large And the breakfeast alone I’d worth the trip up north ha ha …. Fabulous location. Clean and tidy and well maintained. Modern and airy. Lovely spa and fantastic views. Excellent restaurant with wonderful view over the lake. Dog friendly and staff very helpful and polite.
