Absolutely a beautiful gem of a place away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Such a picturesque place over looking the lake which was once a volcano. The place exceeded our expectations. Staff were lovely. Dining under the stars beautiful.

Hotel Piccolo Borgo is 500 metres from Capannelle Train Station. Located next to the Appian Way Regional Park on the outskirts of Rome, it was once a farmhouse. Parking is free.

Upon entering initially liked the warm and friendly welcome at the front desk, the room was on the 3rd floor. With regards to the room, I can note the cleanliness, comfort and coziness. Daily cleaning, everything is available (refrigerator, hair dryer, personal hygiene products, etc.). It was a pleasure to be in the room and the hotel as a whole.

The hotel room was clean...the room was spacious with a beautiful diffuser and plenty of toiletries. The room was secure and extremely quiet hard to believe we were close to the centre of Rome. The breakfast was beautiful plenty to eat and we never felt rushed out of breakfast room. The staff were extremely helpful in every day and tended to our every need and request. I would highly recommend this hotel especially it's location and it was walking distance to all the main attractions and if the legs were a bit worn there was a taxi rank directly across the road.

The room was very bright, quirky and spacious and the view from our balcony was great. The staff were fantastic, very helpful, nothing was a problem especially when I forgot my photo ID for the Colosseum and Marta was able to email a copy of my passport so I didn't have to return to the hotel to get it... brilliant! Faruk was amazing, nothing was ever a problem, brought our luggage to our room, served us lovely welcome drinks at the bar, brought our "amazing" breakfast to our room each morning and gave us helpful information for our trip and always with a smile 😊 we would 100% stay here again.

The staff were attentive and helped us with a late arrival. They prepared breakfast for us when we were rushing to get to a pre-arranged tour. They were also gracious in our early departure due to an early train. We could not have been more comfortable, the mini bar provisions were a welcome treat. Being close to the train station is the main reason we booked but I would have no hesitation in suggesting that we will recommend this property and be back ourselves! Thank you Roman Residence!
