They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

With amazing staff who were all happy to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. With a special shout out to Bikram. The eclectic mix of stylish antiques and art. -Every staff member I met was genuinely kind and enthusiastic, always offering help and thoughtful travel advice without being asked. Their warmth felt sincere and constant throughout my three-day stay, which made me and my friend feel truly welcomed and cared for. -The welcome drink — a light brown juice with a lovely balance of sweet, sour, and a hint of spice — surprised me. I loved it, and was even more delighted when they told me it was nutmeg, a traditional local drink. -The hotel is right in the heart of George Town — about a 10-minute walk to the sea, the Peranakan Mansion, and blocks full of unique little shops. -Our room had the charm of the old world with the comfort of modern amenities. It really felt like “sleeping with the past.” -Breakfast wasn’t extensive, but every dish was delicious.
