Just a lovely place, such a fantastic location & had complimentary bikes to go along. When our bikes didn’t work they gave us complimentary e-bikes! I really felt listened to & that is a first! Also they offer great deals with neighbouring restaurants (which are fantastic!!!)

Spectacular views, most beautiful place i've ever stayed in NZ, spacious room, and absolutely clean. Very good location near the town or go for hiking in the National park( both in 10 minutes drive). Definitely worth staying for more than 1 night.

Very clean and the room came with everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. Excellent place to stay especially when travelling with kids. Close proximity to the coast, food places and shops. Loved our stay and we will definitely stay at Dawsons when we go to New Plymouth again.

Fresh smelling non-smoking bed-room and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. These are the most important items for me. Lovely view over the city, and quiet at night with no city noise.

Very close to town, far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle but close enough to just pop down the supermarket. The room was exactly what we wanted. I read some reviews before we stayed and most were positive. I recall someone had commented that the spa bath was too small - but I found it to be perfect!! Our room was very warm, had all the things we needed for a two night stay (mini kitchen was well equipped) and we loved the single seater couches - they were really comfy. We will definately stay again.

Brougham Heights Motel is centrally located in the New Plymouth city centre. The New Plymouth Foreshore Walkway is less than 500-metres away, and all units include a spa bath.

Overall the place was very clean. Breakfast provided was fresh and tasty with homemade bread and eggs from their chickens. The owner Brad was very friendly and shared travel tips and history of some of the sights in New Plymouth. Bed came with an electric blanket which made it very comfortable.

Lockwood Manor Motel is a 15-minute walk from central New Plymouth. It offers free parking and free use of bicycles to explore the local area. All rooms feature a 42-inch smart TV.
