Modern hotel with stunning views from every room, across the Douro River valley. Parking outside the door. Great meals and (mostly) very friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay by a day. It was fun having a pool table to while away a rainy day.

This place is amazing. The photos don't do enough justice. Everything was great: the staff, the room, the view, the wine, the tranquillity. We were really sorry that we couldn't stay another day.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. For the morning of our departure, we had our breakfast on bags ready, because breakfast time was not possible that early. Room was clean and nice. Nice balcony.
