Everything was superb! The staff was so kind and attentive, the private little beach was so good and you can walk to lamai beach in a matter of seconds. The view from the 2nd floor room was amazing. The breakfast was good and filling, they would make what you wanted on the spot and every day they would offer fresh fruits for breakfast. Their cocktails at their bar were well done! The room was clean and way prettier than in the pictures, they do not do the place justice! The bed and the pillows were the comfiest we've ever experienced! They would also offer clean towels and water bottles daily. Also, for the girls, they had a proper makeup ring light mirror for getting ready! They would also arrange pick ups from the airport and to the pier as we needed so easy and effortless service!

The villas are absolutely gorgeous and the scenery is breathtaking. All the staff are friendly, humble, professional and extremely accommodating, from the reception & restaurant staff, through to the gardener who proudly showed us his herb/vegetable garden. If you are looking for a 5 star resort without the 5 star price tag and pretentious staff, then this is the place for you! The resort offers a car service which is EXCELLENT along with the best tasting food in all the restaurants we dined at on the Island. We fell in love with Koh Samui and it’s people, so we will be back and will stay at Ammatara when we return.

We were been upgraded to Lamai garden suite. The room was spacious. I had requested twin beds but it’s not available by message from hotel. BUT HOUSEKEEPING MADE IT HAPPENED!!!! They surprised me by arranged an extra double bed in living area. The bed was great! Staffs are friendly and helpful. Nine at the front desk is very cool guy. He took us to the room with very warm welcome. You can contact the staffs by an application on your smartphone. They responded in a minute!! The resort is separated with the main road but the security guys were helpful.
