There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

The rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. What a lovely place to stay! Mark is absolutely amazing, very hospitable and he gave us some really nice recommendations for places to visit. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend or visit again!

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. Large cabin space, nice kitchen and rooms. Great location surrounded by mountains. A quick bike ride away from Hallstatt and lots of rentals available for use.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. The staff were incredibly friendly. Also, the location was a must. We came with a car, and their parking lot saved our life. Hallstatt is not a city to wander around in a car, so there are few, small and expensive parking spaces. Having one in our stay was amazing

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. Everything was great! They let us get in the room at 12:30 and let us leave after 12:00! They were very helpful and answered every question we had! The room was cosy, beds were very comfortable,the bathroom was excellent ! The location was perfect as we had an amazing view, we were close to everything and the walking distance from the ferry to our room was only 2-3 minutes! Breakfast was great as well.

Apartment Hotel Seerose offers rooms and apartments in Obertraun in the heart of the Salzkammergut Region, a 1-minute walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt and only 3 km away from the UNESCO-listed town of Hallstatt. The room was perfect for me--would be a little snug for two people, but cozy. :) Location was fabulous, just a minute walk to the lake and an hour walk to Hallstatt. The bus apparently runs often, as well, but I came by car and wanted the exercise. Highly recommend.
